Why I Chose Emergency Medicine:
I chose emergency veterinary medicine because I enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where every day presents new challenges and opportunities to make a meaningful difference. I like the variety of cases, the need to think critically under pressure, and the collaborative nature of emergency practice. It is rewarding to help stabilize critically ill patients, support families during stressful situations, and provide compassionate care when it is needed most.
Fun Fact About Me:
I started practicing aerial silks when I was in high school and have even performed in the circus! I do aerial silks because it challenges me both physically and mentally. It requires strength, flexibility, coordination, and perseverance, and it also encourages creativity and problem-solving. I enjoy setting goals, working consistently toward them, and seeing measurable progress over time.
What You’ll Find Me Doing in My Free Time:
I enjoy baking and crocheting in my free time. I love watching The Great British Baking Show and attempting to recreate their recipes. Sometimes they turn out well, and sometimes they don’t, but it’s all in good fun!
My Pet Family:
I have a shepherd mix named Benzie who is my soul dog. I also have Dumpling, who is a pug-pitbull mix with the silliest, sweetest personality.
